Des Moines Home Security
Des Moines is a very important city, not only in terms of Iowa itself but in terms of the country as well. Founded in 1843, Des Moines was incorporated in 1851. It is not only the county seat of Polk County, but is Iowa’s capital city and its most populous city as well. Its importance to United States politics is legendary- it has been the home of the first major electoral event in the nomination of US Presidents since 1972.
