Fruitridge Home Security

Fruitridge, a city located in Sacramento County was named for the many fruit orchards that dotted the landscape in the area. While most of those trees and orchards are all gone, the community remains the home of just over 37,000 people. Located near the state capital, Fruitridge serves as a mainly bedroom community for workers who commute to the larger, metropolitan areas in the world.

In a bedroom community, large numbers of people are gone for eight hours a day or more on weekdays. A thief may sit at the end of the road and watch for a week or so- seeing how many members of the household leave and at what time. Once they have established a pattern, they can make a plan and then clean up- without being stopped at all. A thief will monitor the homes that have dogs and calculate the risk of the dog as a deterrent to their actions.

Dogs can be tranquilized, and sadly, killed if the bad guy wants in bad enough. A home security system cannot be lulled or turned off except by the homeowner. Once a thief breaks in through a window or a door, the alarm goes off, alerting him to the fact that he is busted, alerting the neighbors who may be home sick for that day and more importantly, alerting the proper authorities so they can hopefully swoop in and make the bust, clearing one more bad guy off of the streets.
